Ibbenbüren – June 1, 2023 – Service and contract management staff working for INNIO’s Jenbacher product brand throughout Germany donated a portion of their 2022 bonus payments to charity.  “Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Vechta e. V.,” a charity that runs a variety of campaigns to help children, teenagers, and young adults with cancer, as well as their families, received 5000 euros from the employees. INNIO doubled the employees’ contributions for a total of 10,000 euros.

Representing their Jenbacher colleagues, Maren Köster and Michael Hawighorst handed over the check to the charity’s two chairs, Almut Klein and Jan-Louis Miller. Dropping off soft toys, lunch boxes, and backpacks while they were there, they also took the opportunity to peek behind the scenes at the busy local charity. The devoted and dedicated organization is committed to improving the pathway to recovery for young people with cancer by helping them maintain stability in their social lives around their treatment. Because a child’s illness can hugely impact the entire family, the charity also offers support to parents and siblings.

True to our motto of never giving up, it’s our charity’s mission to keep everyone affected going and put a smile back on their face. The generous donation from the Jenbacher team and their employer INNIO is a huge financial help and a big boost for us on our mission to help children with cancer and their families.

Almut Klein, First Chairman of “Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Vechta e. V.”

We’ve been so impressed by the important work being done by the passionate and energetic team at the charity. My Jenbacher colleagues and I are grateful that we’ve been able to make this donation to support their many campaigns to help children with cancer and their families.
