INNIO Opens New Plant in Hall in Tirol and Creates Jobs

Hall in Tirol, Austria – March 6, 2026 – INNIO Group continues its growth trajectory with the official opening of its new plant in Hall in Tirol. The plant contributes to the supply of data centers with decentralized energy solutions. With the start of operations at the approximately 6,400-square-meter (69,000-square-foot) production facility, the company is strategically expanding its capacity to meet the growing global demand for Jenbacher engines.

“Our new site is a commitment to Tyrol as a production location and an important step in our growth strategy. At the same time, we are creating additional jobs and offering skilled workers attractive development opportunities,” said Martin Mühlbacher, Vice President Operations and site manager at INNIO Group in Jenbach.

Key components for INNIO’s energy solutions are manufactured at the new site. The plant began partial production at the end of 2025, and the entire production line has been fully operational since February 2026.

Josef Geisler, Deputy Governor of Tyrol, congratulated INNIO on the opening: “With the opening of the plant in Hall in Tirol, INNIO is sending a strong signal for Tyrol as a business location. The investment creates high-quality jobs, strengthens regional value creation, and underscores the innovative strength of our region.”
