Sustainalytics' top rating for INNIO

As INNIO makes significant progress in advancing our commitment to sustainability, our hard work continues to be recognized. The latest award—from Sustainalytics—ranks INNIO number one among more than 500 companies in the machinery industry worldwide, with the lowest ESG risk rating in the group. This recognition follows INNIO’s January 2022 achievement of a Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis for our demonstrated performance in sustainable improvement and growth.

Our progress on this front most recently was recognized in April with an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating of 11.0 from Sustainalytics.

This rating, based on INNIO’s strong performance across a broad range of ESG metrics,

indicated that INNIO was at “Low Risk” of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors. In fact, the rating placed INNIO in the number one spot in the group of more than 500 companies in the machinery industry assessed by Sustainalytics.

Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Ratings measure a company’s exposure to industry-specific Material ESG risks and how well a company is managing those risks. This multi-dimensional way of measuring ESG risk combines the concepts of management and exposure to arrive at an assessment of ESG risk that is comparable across all industries.
